What is the Digital Assistant?
The Digital Assistant is available in your Aspirium Members Area. You can ask it questions in plain English and use its answers as a starting point when you need help.
It is particularly useful for finding guidance on common tasks, such as setting up email, understanding a website error or locating an Aspirium feature.
How to ask a question
- Sign in to your Aspirium account.
- Open Digital Assistant from your member dashboard.
- Type your question into the chat box.
- Add any relevant details, such as the service you are using or the error message you see.
- Read the answer and ask a follow-up question if you need more detail.
You do not need to know the technical term for a problem. Describe what you are seeing in your own words.
Getting a more useful answer
Give the assistant enough context to understand your question. For example:
General question: “My email isn’t working.”
More useful question: “I can receive messages at hello@myclinic.co.uk, but I can’t send them from Outlook on my laptop. It started this morning and Outlook shows an authentication error. What should I check?”
If you are asking about your website, include the page address and the exact wording of any error. You can then ask the assistant to explain a step more simply or help you decide what information to send to support.Things you can ask
Try questions such as:
- “Where do I find my hosting invoices?”
- “How do I add an email account to Outlook?”
- “What does an SSL warning on my website mean?”
- “What information should I include when reporting a broken contact form?”
- “How do I add a DNS TXT record for verification?”
- “Where can I find my saved Design Studio work?”
The assistant’s knowledge will grow as we add more Aspirium guides. If it cannot answer your question, contact our team.
Check before making technical changes
The assistant can explain a setting or suggest troubleshooting steps, but it cannot see everything about your account or confirm the cause of every problem.
Take particular care with changes to DNS, email delivery, website files and payment settings. If you are unsure what a step will affect, ask Aspirium support before making the change.
The assistant does not submit a support request on your behalf unless the page explicitly tells you that a request has been sent.
Protecting your clinic’s information
Please do not enter passwords, payment-card details or patient-identifiable information into the chat.
For a question about a patient-facing form or booking process, describe the issue without including patient names, contact details or clinical records. If we need to investigate a specific case, contact Aspirium support so we can arrange an appropriate way to share the information.
When to contact Aspirium
Contact us directly if:
- Your website or email is unavailable
- A contact or booking form has stopped working
- You need a change made to your website or hosting
- A payment or account access issue needs investigating
- The assistant’s answer does not resolve the problem
- You are unsure whether a technical change is safe
Include the affected website or service, what happened, when it started and any error message you can see.
Common questions
Can the assistant make changes to my website?
The assistant provides guidance through chat. If you need us to investigate or make a change, send a support request.
Does it know the details of my account?
Do not assume it can see your hosting setup, invoices, website files or marketing data. Check your account area or contact us when an answer depends on your specific services.
What if an answer seems wrong?
Do not follow a step you are uncomfortable with. Contact us and include the question you asked and the part of the answer you would like checked.
Why can’t I access the assistant?
Check that you are signed in with the account linked to your Aspirium membership. If you believe you should have access, contact us and we’ll check it.
Ready to ask a question?
Start with what you are trying to do or what has gone wrong. The more relevant detail you provide, the easier it is to give you a useful answer.
